第七届跨国公司领导人青岛峰会开幕

6月16日上午，由商务部和山东省人民政府共同举办的第七届跨国公司领导人青岛峰会在山东青岛国际会议中心开幕。国家副主席韩正出席开幕式并致辞。吉尔吉斯共和国总统特别代表托罗巴耶夫·巴基特，省委书记林武致辞，省委副书记、省长周乃翔主持，省政协主席葛慧君出席。

On the morning of June 16, the opening ceremony of the 7th Qingdao Multinationals Summit, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Shandong Province, kicked off at the Qingdao International Conference Center in Shandong Province. Han Zheng, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Torobaev Bakit, Special Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Lin Wu, Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, delivered speeches. Zhou Naixiang, Deputy Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Shandong Province, presided over the ceremony, while Ge Huijun, Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, was present.

韩正表示，习近平主席高度重视跨国公司在华发展，多次充分肯定外资企业在参与中国改革开放和现代化建设中发挥的重要作用。中国持续推进高质量发展，扩大高水平对外开放，成为世界经济增长的稳定器和动力源，也为跨国公司发展提供了广阔舞台。中国坚定不移支持跨国公司在华投资兴业、蓬勃健康发展，共同创造合作共赢的美好未来。

Han Zheng stated that President Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the development of multinationals in China and has repeatedly fully recognized the vital role foreign-funded enterprises have played in China’s reform, opening-up and modernization drive. As China forges ahead with high-quality development and advances high-level opening-up, it has become a stabilizer and powerhouse for global economic growth, offering a broad stage for multinationals to thrive. China remains unwaveringly committed to supporting multinationals to invest, operate and flourish in China, so as to jointly build a promising future of win-win cooperation.

韩正提出4点建议，一是共享中国消费大市场，希望跨国公司加大在华投资布局，提供优质的商品和服务，不断拓展新的发展空间。二是共抓产业升级新机遇，希望跨国公司深化在华产业合作，共同增强全球竞争力。三是共筑创新合作新生态，希望跨国公司充分利用中国创新资源，携手打造更具韧性、更具活力、更具竞争力的创新发展新生态。四是共创开放合作新局面，希望跨国公司继续从客观经济规律出发，坚定维护开放合作的国际经济环境，共同维护全球产业链供应链稳定。

Han Zheng put forward four proposals. First, share China’s vast consumer market. He encouraged multinationals to scale up investment and layout in China, supply high-quality goods and services, and continuously explore new room for growth. Second, seize new opportunities for industrial upgrading together. Multinationals are welcome to deepen industrial cooperation in China and jointly boost global competitiveness. Third, jointly foster a new ecosystem for innovation cooperation. Multinationals are encouraged to fully leverage China’s innovation resources and work together to build a more resilient, dynamic and competitive ecosystem for innovative development. Fourth, jointly foster a new landscape of open cooperation. Multinationals should act in line with objective economic laws, firmly uphold an international economic environment featuring openness and cooperation, and jointly safeguard the stability of global industrial and supply chains.

韩正表示，中国始终是开放型世界经济的建设者、全球共同发展的推动者、各国企业互利合作的支持者。中国愿与全球跨国公司携手共进、向新而行，希望跨国公司继续投资中国、深耕中国，在中国这片沃土上取得新的更大发展。

Han Zheng noted that China has always been a builder of an open world economy, a promoter of shared global development, and a supporter of mutually beneficial cooperation among enterprises worldwide. China stands ready to march forward hand in hand with multinationals across the globe to embrace new progress. He hoped multinationals would continue to invest in and deepen their roots in China to achieve greater new growth on this fertile land.

林武表示，习近平主席指出，与中国同行就是与机遇同行，相信中国就是相信明天，投资中国就是投资未来。面向“十五五”，我们愿与跨国公司一道，深化对接、加强合作，共同打造产业合作生态链，共同培育创新发展强引擎，共同拓展绿色低碳新蓝海，共同扩大贸易往来朋友圈，绘就互利共赢的美好蓝图。

Lin Wu quoted President Xi Jinping’s remarks: "To march alongside China is to march alongside opportunities; to believe in China is to believe in tomorrow; to invest in China is to invest in the future." Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Shandong stands ready to align closely and strengthen cooperation with multinationals to jointly build an ecological chain of industrial collaboration, cultivate powerful engines for innovative growth, tap into new blue oceans of green and low-carbon development, and expand the circle of friends for trade exchanges, thus drawing a splendid blueprint for mutual benefit and win-win results.

开幕式上，商务部副部长鄢东、托罗巴耶夫·巴基特、国际贸易中心执行主任帕米拉·柯克-汉密尔顿、新西兰维塔工作室联合创始人兼联合首席执行官理查德·泰勒、中国石化集团董事长侯启军致辞。商务部国际贸易经济合作研究院发布了《跨国公司在中国》研究报告。

Speeches were delivered at the opening ceremony by Yan Dong, Vice Minister of Commerce; Torobaev Bakit; Pamela Coke-Hamilton, Executive Director of the International Trade Centre; Richard Taylor, Co-founder and Co-CEO of New Zealand’s Weta Workshop; and Hou Qijun, Chairman of China Petrochemical Corporation. The Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation under the Ministry of Commerce released the research report Multinationals in China.

开幕式后举行跨国公司高质量发展论坛。现代汽车、金光、特雷通、贺利氏、康菲、中国交建、香港新华、海尔等跨国公司领导人和有关商协会代表，围绕全球行业发展趋势及投资展望、跨国公司投资中国故事作了发言。国家知识产权局、主宾省四川省、山东省青岛市负责同志作了推介。会议还进行了重点合作项目签约。

Following the opening ceremony, a Forum on High-Quality Development of Multinationals was held. Leaders from multinationals including Hyundai, Golden Agri-Resources, Trelleborg, Heraeus, ConocoPhillips, China Communications Construction Company and Hong Kong Xinhua Group, as well as representatives of relevant chambers of commerce, shared insights on global industrial trends, investment prospects and their stories of investing in China. Officials from the National Intellectual Property Administration, Sichuan Province (the guest province of honor) and Qingdao City of Shandong Province gave promotional presentations. A signing ceremony for key cooperation projects also took place during the summit.

本届峰会以“跨国公司与中国——携手‘十五五’向新向未来”为主题，有关国家部委、山东省领导，以及来自多国政府部门、国际组织、跨国公司和境内外商协会代表等700余人参加。（李建国）

This year’s summit carries the theme "Multinationals and China – Forging Ahead Toward New Horizons and a Shared Future in the 15th Five-Year Plan Period". More than 700 participants attended the event, including officials from relevant central government departments of China, leading cadres of Shandong Province, as well as representatives from government authorities, international organizations, multinationals and Chinese and foreign chambers of commerce from multiple countries.
