陈白薇会见美国教育服务机构协会首席全球官杰森

7月23日，山东省政府外办主任、省对外友协会长陈白薇在山东济南会见了美国教育服务机构协会首席全球官杰森一行。

On July 23, Chen Baiwei, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province and President of the Shandong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, met with Jason, Chief Global Officer of the American Association of Educational Service Agencies, and his delegation in Jinan, Shandong.

陈白薇对客人来访表示欢迎，介绍了山东经济社会发展及对外开放情况，回顾了山东与康涅狄格州等美国地方友好交往历史。她表示，今年是山东与康州结好40周年，美国教育服务机构协会总部位于康州，希望协会积极发挥媒介作用，向更多美国学校、教育机构推介全面、真实、立体的中国，组织美国学校走进山东，开展师生交流，共同举办“鲁美青情”等交流活动，为双方青年增进了解、厚植友谊搭建桥梁。

Chen Baiwei welcomed the delegation and briefed them on Shandong's economic and social development and its opening-up efforts. She reviewed the history of friendly exchanges between Shandong and U.S. states, particularly Connecticut. Noting that this year marks the 40th anniversary of the sister-state relationship between Shandong and Connecticut, she expressed that the American Association of Educational Service Agencies, headquartered in Connecticut, is well-positioned to serve as a bridge. She hoped the Association would actively promote a comprehensive, authentic, and multi-dimensional image of China to more American schools and educational institutions, organize visits to Shandong by U.S. schools, facilitate teacher-student exchanges, and co-host events such as the "Shandong-U.S. Youth Friendship" exchange activities, thereby building a platform for young people from both sides to enhance mutual understanding and deepen friendship.

杰森介绍了美国教育服务机构协会在华业务开展情况及下一步合作意向。他表示，鲁美合作基础坚实、空间广阔，协会愿发挥平台优势，积极推动康州等美国地方扩大与山东在教育培训、青年互访、文化交流等领域合作。

Jason introduced the Association's current operations in China and its future cooperation plans. He stated that Shandong-U.S. cooperation has a solid foundation and broad prospects, and the Association is willing to leverage its platform strengths to actively expand collaboration with Shandong in areas such as education and training, youth exchanges, and cultural interaction, particularly with Connecticut and other U.S. states.

美国教育服务机构协会总部位于美国康涅狄格州柴郡。协会通过专业培训、发展规划、资源支持、建设服务网络等方式为美45个州地方教育机构提供服务。（李建国 李洪滨 高原）

The American Association of Educational Service Agencies is headquartered in Cheshire, Connecticut.
