The Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations (CDAC) kicked off today with a grand opening ceremony. So what are the interesting topics of the conference? How do guests to the conference see Asian civilizations? By speaking to guests and reporters from different Asian countries, we explore the CDAC in Asian eyes.

本期我们对话新加坡国际事务研究所高级研究员Ei Sun Oh，听听他对亚洲文明共存、亚洲文明与全球化以及亚洲文明对话大会的看法。

In this episode, we speak to Ei Sun Oh, Senior Researcher at Singapore Institute of International Affairs on topics including coexistence of Asian civilizations, their relations with globalization and the significance of holding CDAC.

在他看来，亚洲不同的文明在几个世纪里相互学习，同时吸收其它文明的精华，诸如美洲、非洲、欧洲文明。

According to him, the different Asian cultures and civilizations learnt from each other over the centuries, and are also open and absorbent of other cultures, including those in America, Africa and Europe.
